Victoria is an interdisciplinary mining business leader with 20+ years of experience in the mining, energy and consulting sectors. In her current role, Victoria oversees the energy and decarbonization program at Newmont. Victoria’s experience includes roles in strategy, business development, project management, marketing, M&A, commercial, and management consulting roles in major mining and EPC companies. She has developed and executed business unit strategies, plans, and programs profitably, aligned with the Company’s goals and objectives. Victoria has led cross-functional teams, stakeholder engagement, and the integration of internal and external complexities into approaches and solutions in the areas of new program and technology service development, commercial strategies, economic analysis and forecasting, in support of growth and sustainability business objectives.

Victoria holds a BS/MS degree in Mining Engineering/Mineral Economics from the Moscow State Geological Prospecting Institute and a Masters degree in Energy & Mineral Resources from the University of Texas at Austin.

Victoria is an active advocate for advancing Inclusion and Diversity in the mining industry and beyond, and has been serving on the Society for Mining Engineering and Metallurgy’s Inclusion and Diversity Committee since its inception in 2020.
